Cruz is just a bit too smug~ Obama is smug ~!  Both 1st time senators - Looking at what Obama has already done, I think that old adage "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"
Well I wont vote for another first time Senator no matte who and especially one who has struck  out 3x
1- Birther issue - Being such a literal constitutionalist its rather hypocritical to make light of this issue especially with what stirs and uncertainties arose and with what Obama has gotten away with. Our founding fathers would be turning in their graves to know how much spin politicians put on the Consititution just to suit their own agendas - whether malignant or behign, you cant make light of Constiturional issues~!
2- Goldman Sacks?~ NAFTA? - Mrs Cruz? Unreported $1 Millon loan  "error"?? 

Really?? and why I should consider entrusting him with  my tax dollars as President with the US Checkbook??? umm-NO!
3- Contempt shown for New Yorkers ?- Well IF you can make it in NY you can make it anywhere, Ted~!  Guess you couldnt make it in NY and by revealing whats in your heart about New Yorkers, 

One can only imagine the contempt Cruz inwardly has for other Americans so NO as a native New Yorker, though I no longer reside there, I take notice to the lack of character you displayed in your statement and NO I dont think I want someone with your questionable past to be running our country. Got Gun Control? Why not target gangs & illegals with illegal guns instead of legal citizens with legal guns?

Why not target gangs with illegal guns and get the drug runners at the same time like a twofer and leave the legal good guy citizens alone? 

He said 'if it prevents even 1 death"...what about all the daily deaths of people being killed by gangs in cities like his beloved Chicago that has so many murders that they dont even make national news anymore or other places where there are shootings daily? 

There was a dumb woman on probation that had an illegal gun in her van when a young nephew blew his head off after she left him alone in the van - she initially tried to cover her butt over the gun being illegal as that boy died...

People like that - who have illegal guns -- people who sell heroine that have illegal guns - why arent they enhancing task forces on those people who are in every state and who no decent person would object to them breaking up the gangs who also host many illegals coming over the southern borders and those called mules who transport drugs - they all have guns and 99.9% are illegal guns,

The president ,AG and DOJ do not have to waste time and tax dollars trying to disarm the good people over the random nut cases who may get hands on legal weapons and go on shooting sprees regardless to how often we hear of it, we have over 330 million people in this country so `1-2 nuts a year cant even really be measured on a percentage graph whereas gang violence and drug dealers are known and active in every part of the nation.

Kind of reminds me of the stupid mentality of nations trying to force Israel, our peaceful law abiding ally, to keep surrendering land and positions to rioting terrorists from Palestine instead of booting them off to a neighboring arab nation. Arafat said they would never settle land for peace [take apiece at a time] until they got it all. 

Then because they are louder mouth bullies, nations like ours instead try pressuring the good guys to give into the bad guys - easier? 

Or take a peek at Europe- legal citizens are mostly disarmed - now its those little devote terror groups that go around raping robbing rock throwing and shooting natives, as the colonize with their no-go zones and we are supposed to wonder about terrorism which can be prevented with some common sense?.

SO its the same twisted mentality that wants to disarm decent people from having a lawful way to protect themselves as our CIC focuses on creating more restrictions for lawful citizens to obtain guns rather than the criminals out there who get guns under the wire illegally. 

What the heck is the ATF and DEA for anymore?

Our govt is way too screwed up thanks more to Obama but in fairness it didnt start with him , he just got to take over and take it all to the extreme beyond what his predecessors dared to do.

I dont own a gun [yet] but certainly dont want to be denied one should I go to buy one~! I have owned guns in the past many years ago and didnt want them around when my kids were young but nowadays, with home invasions and random nut attacks and impending terrorist attacks, I think every law abiding citizen should be armed and ready to protect themselves. The only thing extra should be required target practice at a gun range which is probably included somewhere in some law already. 

Really if they just enforced the existing laws, we would all be alot safer.

Then again the winds changed when Obama took office and he did say whose side he would be on~!
